Continuing Education Credits

Earn 100 American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Learning Units by participating in the SBA Program. LEED APs & LEED GAs may also earn up to 100 continuing education units through this USGBC approved Mastery Level Education Provider Program.

Sustainable Building Advisor Course Tuition

Tuition fees include lectures, field trips, certification exam and a materials binder. Students are eligible to take the certification exam after having successfully completed the writing assignments, participated in a group project and have attended the lectures and field trips.

Early Registration Discount Rate – More than 30 days before the first class $2150
Regular Tuition Rate – Within 30 days before the first class $2450
SF AIA Member, Build It Green Member and Group Discount – 10%
     More than 30 days before the first class $1935
     Within 30 days before the first class $2205

Early Registration Discount

Register early and receive a $300 discount on tuition fees. Due to limited space, early registration is recommended.

AIA San Francisco Chapter Member Discount

American Institute of Architects San Francisco Chapter members receive a 10% discount on tuition. All AIA members can receive up to 100 Learning Units for participating in the course.

Build It Green Member Discount

Build It Green members receive a 10% discount on tuition. Certified Green Building Professionals can receive continuing education credits for participating in the course.

Group Discount

Groups of 3 or more may receive a 10% discount on tuition.

Work Trade Opportunity

Two work trade opportunities are available for the next Sustainable Building Advisor Program in San Francisco. Each position provides a $1000 discount on course tuition. Learn More.

Cancellation/Refund

Tuition will be refunded, minus a $100 processing fee, for cancellations made before the first day of class. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after classes begin.

Payment Plan Option

Payment plans are available for the San Francisco SBA Program. Tuition for the payment plan is $2450; no discounts are available for the payment plan option. To enroll using the payment plan option, a deposit is required before the first day of class. Early registration is encouraged to reserve your seat in the class. Subsequent payments must be made according to the schedule listed below.

  • $650 Deposit secures your seat in the class.
  • $650 due by the 3rd weekend session
  • $650 due by the 5th weekend session
  • $500 due by the 7th weekend session
